Many thanks to Robin who sent me this photograph of the Dee Lane/Grange Road junction as was in about 1965 when new drains were installed in West Kirby. I mentioned about the proposed plans to convert an old West Kirby funeral parlour into a wine bar. Well, the council have rejected those plans as they deemed them unsuitable for a residential area.
