This is the view from the foot bridge over the Wirral line at Orrysdale Road, looking in the direction of West Kirby station. A regular route for me as I use it as a cut through on one of my runs. Would anybody happen to know when this bridge was built? Please a comment if [...]

We call this the Ashton Park bridge. It crosses the Wirral Way and joins the upper and lower sections of the park. Do those metal arches actually serve any purpose?

I am presuming that the construction work (pictured) opposite the Concourse is the start of the new petrol station. A new petrol station was a pre-condition of Aldi getting planning approval for their yet-to-built store in Bridge Road.
Can anyone confirm that is indeed the site of the new garage?
