Ashton Park Is A Green Flag Winner

I’ve just found an old’ish press cutting from earlier this year that’s worth a mention.

Did you know that Ashton Park was one of only of eight Wirral parks / open spaces to be awarded aGreen Flag award? This page details what a green flag award is.

I didn’t know that Ashton Park was laid out in 1899 and it covers some five hectares, either side of the Wirral Way.
