A long established Banks Road shop is to close later this year. Hazlehurst Linen shop has been trading in Banks Road for 41 years but is currently planned to close in 2009.
Proprietor Ian Hazlehurst has started a blog to keep you informed about the big sale and news from his shop.

That is so sad….whenever Im in West Kirby I have shopped here and Ian is always kind and helpful, providing a good local shop service.
Just read his blog, and he is right, people just dont walk down that end of town any more….hate to think what Banks Road is going to look like in a few years time, all the good local suppliers will have been driven out…
