It appears that the rumours about the West Kirby Loch Fyne venue closing are true.
The Ring-o-Bells in Village Road is to become a Greene King pub after a £150,000 refurbishment programme. It is expected that the venue will offer both drinks and food with a 60/40 split in favour of drink, with an anticipated turnover of £15,000/week. The once popular beer garden is included within the redevelopment.
Here are the retail manager vacancy details.

Anyone know what’s happening with the collingwood?? Is been shut for weeks, sign on door only saw “shut for day due to plumbing works”….it’s been weeks!!
The Collingwood has closed due to a huge VAT invoice that could not be met.
The venue will not re open under the current managment and they are trying to sell the lease.
The venue was fantastic but location coud not sustain the business
Just to update this subject, the RoB is now back to pub status, with a good selection of beers ( love the ‘Blue Moon’) and food.
We enjoyed a good lunch and a later evening meal – good quality and service!
