Following on from the earlier posting, residents and motorists of West Kirby will have noticed the Petrol Station & Convenience Store development on Orrysdale Road (Opposite the Concourse) is nearing completion.
There have been delays due to inclement weather and some of the utitiliy companies stringent demands but it is anticipated that the site will be sufficiently complete to open for business by late Monday 30th November, be fully stocked and up to speed by the end of that week ready for Christmas.
The existing Petrol Station on Bridge Road will remain open for a limited period of time whilst customers get used to the new location on Orrysdale Road.

Progress Update.
The new “Fuel, Food & Wash Stop ” (The Petrol Station) in Orrysdale is entering the final stages of the development. There is still a long way to go but all the “Below the Ground Work” is completed, the main Shop building will have a roof in early September and the Car Wash facility, which will have the latest, quietest and most technically advanced Wash on the Wirral, which is supplied by “WashTec” and should be in place by late September.
The landscaping on top of the “Mound” next to the Flats in Yew Tree Court will commence during the latter part of September into October and when finished will provide a “Little Wood of Wild Life” which will provide an attractive screening boundary of some 30+ metres between the develoment and the flats. The landscaping at the other side and to the rear of the development will be the last thing to be done prior to opening, hopefully in late October early November……..Then the existing Petrol Station in Bridge Road will close to make way for the Aldi Store.
